Benjamin Chance is here!

As many of you know, Sherri and I recently had a new addition to our family. Benjamin Chance was born September 17, 2009 at 6:16 am. He was only 24 weeks old and weighed in at 1 pound, 5 ounces and was 12.25 inches long. Needless to say, he was extremely premature and very small. After 5 long months in the NICU, Benjamin was able to come home on February 10, 2010. Benjamin is doing great now and is moving on from his stay at the NICU. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers; we really appreciate it.

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Matthew 21:22

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Prayers for Benjamin

Please keep Benjamin in your prayers. He has developed a very bad cough and has started albuterol treatments at home, but his Pulmonologist said you can't really treat the infection since it is viral, all we can do is treat the symptoms. He said we need to watch him closely over the next 5 days to see if it improves or gets worse as it could be a minor upper respiratory infection or possibly RSV (Respiratory syncytial virus). At this point he is coughing a few times each hour which seems to really exhaust him. Other than that he seems to be fine, still eating and sleeping like usual. We know he will get through this and continue to thrive. Thank you for your prayers.

  2. Lifting Benjamin and mom & dad up in prayers! Benjamin is such a cute lil fighter!
Dear Heavenly Father we ask in your name in your glory to protect Benjamin from this viral infection, for peace and calmness over Mom and dad as they care for your child. Father as the great Healer we ask that this family be blessed in your name and healed.
    In Jesus name we pray
    AMEN!
